Hi Everyone! how are you all? As some of you may know, I have just moved to Coventry university in order to study Occupational therapy for the next 3 years. I promised a couple of you that I would try and give you updates while I am here, so that is exactly what I will attempt to do! However, I only have a short amount of time due being at an internet cafe, so please avoid complaining about my spelling errors. :)

So far, everything has been going really well and I am thankful to the Lord for all the things and people that he has blessed me with thus far.

On Saturday, I travelled down with my father and brothers while my mother went to a Pastor's wives conference nearby. My room is really cool and quite spacous and my bedroom window overlooks Coventry Cathedral, which is nice, although the trees are in the way at the moment. A good axe or chainsaw should sort that problem out though. no worries!

While my mother was at the conference, she met the wife of a pastor here who welcomed me to come to their church on Sunday. I went along in the morning and they made me feel so much at home there. I met up with a girl named Sarah who is a Christian on her 3rd year of studying Occuational therapy. We became good friends, and it turns out that she is actually friends with my cousin, Grace! What a coincidence, and an answer to prayer. Actaully I know the pastor, Andy Taylor, and his daughter, Naomi, because they are involved in Beach missions, so it is wonderful to be with them in their church.

Followng the service on Sunday, I was able to meet up with some of the Christian Union, which was wonderful and a real blessing to me. I have made friendships with a number of them already, and am thankfull to God about the wonderful people that they are! When I was helping them to give out some C.U leaflets, I bumped into a guy named Paul who has just started a Physiotherapy course at the university. We were talking about what we have been doing this year, and it turns out that he is a Christian and has been working onboard the Logos 2 for a STEP programme earlier this year!!! WE have become very close friends, and God has blessed us with being only 3 doors away from each other!! Over the last few days we have spent a lot of time together doing different things, and I am so thankfull to the Lord for providing such a great friend. God has shown me imessurable kindness and I have felt his help and blessing on a huge amount of occassions. Thank you so much for praying for me.

Monday was the first day that I got to meet up with the other students on my course. There are about 150 Occuaptional therapy students in all, and we have been split into 6 groups. When I went for my interview this year, I made friends with a person called Jake. I was hoping that he was given a place at the University, and sure enough, he has! Plus he is in the same group as me! When I was talking to him on monday, I found out that he too is a Chrsitian and wants to come to the CU as well! How good God has been to me.

This week is just an induction week, as we are starting the course next week, so I have had lots of free time to spend making friends and meeting with the C.U.(Christian Union) On Monday evening I went to a fun and games evening that was arranged by the C.U. We had such a great time and I even met up with a friend called Jonathan Wheat. He was on Doulos when I was in Korea and is now studying at the university! WOw! I had a cool time with him, as you can imagine... :)

Anyway, I only have 4 minutes remaining, so I'd better go. I'm going to a grub-crawl tonight which has been arranged by the christian Union. Woohoo! Anyhoo, Thanks again for your prayers. I'll talk to you soon.

However, do not despair. I'll tell you one thing that has been embossed on the surface of my cerebellum:

I HAVE NEW CRANKS FOR MY UNICYCLE!
