Mission week

This week is our Christian Union mission week. Please remember us in your prayers. We are having lunchbars and talks each afternoon and more talks in the evenings.

Oh, and I found this video which you might like to see. That ice looks like a whole lot of fun as long as you are not driving a car... =)

Comments:
Yeah, just dodge the cars flying across the road on the way!

yeah. There is potential for an extreme sport here...something like skate-boarding, but you would have to knock off the wheels or something as they would cleerly be no use. Hey, kind of like surfing, but on snow! You could call it...snowsurfing! You never know, it could catch on! ;)

Prayer Request

How are you all? Since I have got back to University I have not had many lectures or anything. I have self study time which has its good and bad points. Anyone who knows me well will be familiar with the struggle I have with writing essays. I am consious that if I am not careful everything is left until the last minute. Although this is a habit that I have been shaking off, it still lingers to a degree. I'm not working as well as I want to be, not nearly. I need prayer that I might structure my day effectively, put my best into my work and not get discouraged as that can be a killer to me and grind everything to a halt. Really. I just need to have confidence in this.

The Revival Hymn

Dear everyone

Here is a compilation recording that I have listened to today. It has helped me recognise more of God's holiness and my own sinfullness and has given me a greater passion to live my life for Jesus. Listen to it and tell me what you think. Please excuse the music... :)

Encouraged :)

What a wonderful loving Heavenly Father we have! I have been overwhelmed over the last few days as I have been considering the Lord's love. Jesus has taken my sins away, given me hope for the future and chooses to lavish His grace upon me daily. I know that God is changing me day by day and my heart could burst with love, joy and gratitude for all he has done. What wonderful, incredible grace to be counted as a son of God!

May you each grow stronger in your walk with the Lord this week. God bless you all

I have never seen such a creative way of playing the guitar as this guy demonstrates. It's like...magic! Wow!
