Mornin'
I'm just in a break from lectures, so I thought that I'd write something. This week is the last week that I am in Coventry before I go on placement.
It has been quite eventful here these days. The Christian Union is preparing for mission week (next week) and we have now, officially, handed over the leadership of the CU to the new committee. I think that it will take a bit to get used to not doing small groups anymore. I will have much more time available but will miss the responsibilities and the benefits of it. Through doing small groups, my understanding of the bible has grown, so it has been very valuable. I trust that it has been for others too.
All my courework is drawing near to completion, which is nice :). Over the last few days there have been piles to do, but with God's help it is getting finished. Last friday I had the shock of discovering that I had to hand in a piece about 10 days earlier than I thought. Ouch.
At the momment we are all doing a module exploring groupwork in Occupational Therapy. For this each person leads a groupwork session of their choice, with a partner for 1 hour. The people who are not conducting the presentation have to roleplay the client group. Last week there was a art group for children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. You won't believe the ammount of fun I had! MWA HA HA HA! By the end of the group the facilitators looked pretty stressed...
there will be 2 other groups this afternoon, which I'm greatly looking forward to. Don't worry. I'll go easy on them...maybe
I'll be off then.
Be excelent to each other.
